Today I found 50 cents . . . 2 nickels & 40 pennies. I also found coins from Canada, Lebanon, and Great Britian. Additionally, I found a Boston T token. Sadly, the foreign coins and T token will not count toward the daily totals.
All of the change was found by a change counting machine at Stop-and-Shop, a local grocery store. 45 cents (two nickels & 35 pennies) were in the reject slot of the machine and five cents (all pennies) were under the machine.
The five foreign coins (one Canadian quarter, two Canadian dimes, one British five pence coin, and a 50 Piastres coin from Lebanon) were all found in the reject slot of the above mentioned change counting machine. Also found in the reject slot was a commemorative 1987 Orange Line T token. As previously mentioned, the token and foreign coins will not count toward the daily totals. However, they have already been deposited into my "Not Change Cup," keeper of such found items.
Totals for the day: 50 cents
Race Totals: $704.64

40+ coins in the reject slot! That's awesome. Is the T token worth $1.25? I've never seen one like that.
