Today I found 18 cents . . . 1 nickel, 1 dime, and 3 pennies.

Before taking Becca to the airport this morning I stopped in to put some laundry in the washing machine. On the way in I found 11 cents (one dime & one penny) near the bases of different washing machines.

On the way back from Logan I found a nickel at the base of a toll booth near the Williams Tunnel.

The final finds of the day, two pennies, were found on the floor of the laundry room when I went back to switch my clothes to the dryer.

Today I found 54 cents . . . 2 quarters & 4 pennies.

In the morning I found a penny by a parking meter along Washington St. Later in the day Becca and I headed to the Haymarket Fruit Market and while purchasing some fruits I heard the sound of change drop. A quick search was made and 50 cents (two quarters) was retrieved.

The three remaining pennies were found in the afternoon as Becca and I were out and about in Boston. Two of the pennies were found on sidewalks and the last was found outside Foodies, a local grocery store.

Today I found 18 cents . . . 3 nickels and 3 pennies.

This afternoon I found 10 cents (two nickels) behind the change counting machine at my local credit union. One of the ladies working behind the counter saw me retrieve the nickels and mentioned that she had seen the nickels earlier but hadn't taken the time to pick them up. I offered them to her, but she agreed that it was her loss and my gain.

On the way home I found another eight cents (one nickel & three pennies). The nickel was in an unoccupied parking space along Washington St and the three pennies were at the bases of three seperate parking meters.

Today I found 2 cents . . . both pennies.

Both pennies were found this evening as I headed back from Thanksgiving dinner. I would be a poor writer if I did not mention that Becca, who came into town a few days ago, was quite patient as I searched for some Thanksgiving change. The two pennies were found at a vacuum cleaner at a nearby gas station.

Today I found 7 cents . . . 1 nickel & 2 pennies.

Walking through North Station this morning I spotted and retreived a nickel from the base of a commuter rail ticket window. My hands were cold and it took quite a bit of effort to pick it up.

In the afternoon I found a penny at the base of a change counting machine at the credit union that I belong to.

The final find of the day, a penny, was found at the exit to the New England Medical Center T stop.

Today I found 27 cents . . . 1 quarter & 2 pennies.

This afternoon I headed up to Chinatown to do some grocery shopping. Along the way I found a penny that was stuck in a crack on the sidewalk.

Once at Chinatown I went to one of my favorite sandwich shops and on the way in I spotted and retrieved a quarter that was resting up agains the fron counter.

The final find of the day, a penny, was found under a seat of the bus that I took back home.

Today I found 29 cents . . . 1 quarter & 4 pennies. I also found a Canadia penny, which sadly will not count toward the daily totals.

This morning I went to recycle some beer cans and on the way into the liquor store I spotted and retrieved a penny that was on the ground in close proximity to the cash register.

I decided on McDonalds for lunch and while pulling throug the drive thru I added 27 cents (one quarter & two pennies) to the daily totals.

The final penny of the day was found at the base of a cash register at 7-11.

The Canadian penny, which sadly will not count toward the daily totals, was also found at the McDonalds drive thru. Although it will not count it has already been deposited into my "Not Change Cup," keeper of such items.

After a morning of meetings I headed back to Boston this afternoon. In the evenig I stopped at Harry O's, a local sub shop, for some dinner. I also picked up a penny that was on the ground. I found my second penny when I was doing some laundry later in the evening. It was at the base of a washing machine.

Today I found 1 cent . . . a penny.

This week I have meetings in Conneticut. I booked a hotel at Foxwood Casino so I can enjoy the evenings. After a day of meetings I headed over to the hotel and found a penny under a vending machine.

I'm a bit bummed about the actual casino. They pay out in tickets, not coins. As such, the chances of finding a few loose coins around do not seem good.

Today I found 2 cents . . . both pennies.

Both pennies were found as I walked from the South End to the Fenway area this afternoon. The first was on a sidewalk and the second was in a gutter along the street.

I have just gotten a plot in the Fenway Victory Garden and today was my first day over there. Since it's winter I'm not planing anything, but I'm getting out the weeds and preparing for Spring.

Today I found 38 cents . . . 1 dime, 1 quarter, and 3 pennies.

The quarter was the first find of the day and I found it walking to work this morning. It was at the base of a parking meter. I found my first and second pennies in the same location, but about nine hours apart. Both were on the floor at North Station. The dime was also found at North Station as I walked through this evening on the way home. It was at the base of a McDonalds stand. The final penny of the evening was found on my walk home. It was already dark but the light from a street light illuminated the penny and I spotted it from about 25 feet away.

Today I found 14 cents . . . 1 dime and 4 pennies.

As today was Veteran’s Day I was off so I spent my day running around and getting a few odds and ends done. I had a load of laundry to do and it was profitable as I found 11 cents (one dime & one penny) at the laundrymat. I then found a penny on a sidewalk and another penny at the front door of a neighborhood sub shop.

Today I found 14 cents . . . 1 dime & 4 pennies.

A few days ago a friend of mine told me about a store in the Boston area called Building 19. It’s a store that sells a wide variety of marked down stuff; anything from cans of soup to oriental rugs. There are a few locations in the Boston area and I checked them out during the day. My travels took me to three of the stores and it was in each store that I found my change for the day.

Today I found 26 cents . . . 1 quarter & 1 penny. Change was found in two states, Conneticut and Massachusetts.

This morning I drove to Hartford, CT for a meeting and on the way back I spotted and retrieved a quarter from the road as I pulled up and waited to pay a toll. The penny was found much closer to home, on the sidewalk outside my apartment.

Today I found 9 cents . . . 1 nickel & 4 pennies.

Two pennies were found outside Harry O’s, a local sub shop. They were on the sidewalk. The nickel was found in the coin return slot of a T ticket machine at North Station. The third penny was at the base of a McDonalds counter, also at North Station and the final penny of the day was found in about the same location, only about eight hours later in the day.

It was found outside my apartment, at the base of a tree on the sidewalk. It is a location where people put trash out for the evening, so I’m guessing that the penny had been intended for the garbage for some reason.
