Today I found 2 cents. . . both pennies.
Both pennies were found at the post office this morning. The first was on the counter and the second was on the floor, also by the counter.
Totals for the day: 2 cents

wait, I just joined in. where did you find the first 690 some dollars? surely not all in pennies.

Welcome to the blog. As perhaps the only person in America with any iterest I certainly don't want to short change you with my answer.
I started keeping track of change finds in February 2005. Every single find, which now totals almost $700, is documented in the blog.
Most all of my finds come as I am out and about on my daily routine. Every once in a while, especially when I lived in Houston, I would go out and do some searching, but these days I just take what comes to me.
Interestingly enough, at least to me, there has not been a single day in almost four years, where I have not found at least one coin.
