Today I found 14 cents . . . both pennies.

The first two pennies were found on the patio at Sonic. My friend Tara and I went there this evening for some ice cream. As I ate Tara told me about her recent trip to Australia.

The remaining 12 cents (one dime & two pennies) were found in the coin return slot of a change counting machine at Kroger, a local grocery store. I stopped there on the way home after the aforementioned ice cream.
