Today I found 3 cents . . all pennies.

Continuing to show Patti and Matt around Boston we headed up towards the Prudential Center where I found a penny in the lobby. I picked up another penny by the Fenway Victory Gardens, and my final penny was found over in Cambridge near Harvard University.

Today I found 14 cents . . 1 nickel & 9 pennies.

Today my friend Patti (and her boyfriend Matt) came to visit. I gave them a decent tour of Boston and while walking to lunch I found a nickel in the gutter along the street. In the afternoon we ventured to Chinatown where I found another street penny and then to the Downtown Crossing area where I promptly found eight pennies, nicely spaced apart, on a sidewalk.

Today I found 1 cent . . a penny.

Back in Boston I found the lone penny of the day outside my apartment at the base of a parking meter.

Today I found 26 cents . . 1 quarter & 1 penny.

The penny was found in the restaurant at my hotel in Maine and the quarter was found under a vending machine at the same hotel.

Today I found 10 cents . . a dime.

It was an 11th hour find and was recorded when I checked out the laundry room at my hotel and found in sitting on the ground in front of an unoccupied washing machine.

Today I found 1 cent . . a penny.

It was found by a cash register at Wal-Mart in Presque Isle, Maine. The Wal-Mart was small, but the penny was a welcome find. I was there for a sweat shirt as temperatures were dropping to 40 degrees and I had forgotten to pack any long sleeved shirts.

Today I found 12 cents . . 1 dime & 2 pennies.

All change was found in a crack in the patio outside Stela’s Restaurant in the South End. I noticed and retrieved the change as I walked to my car this morning.

Today I found 6 cents . . all pennies.

All pennies were found at grocery stores today; three at Super 88 and three at Stop-and-Shop. Of the Super 88 pennies one was found under a change counting machine, one was found by a customer service desk, and one was found in front of a checkout line. Of the Stop-and-Shop pennies one was found under a change counting machine and two were found by a checkout line.

Tomorrow I head to Maine for a week of work. I’m not sure what the Internet service is going to be like there, but I hope to be able to post while gone. If not everything will be updated by next Friday upon my return.

It was found on the sidewalk along Washington St. I did a lot of walking today and only came up with the lone penny. It was a bit disappointing.

Today I found 2 cents . . .. both pennies. I also found a car wash token, which sadly will not count toward the daily totals.

The first penny was found beside a change counting machine at my local credit union and the second penny was found on the sidewalk as I walked home from work.

The car wash token, which sadly will not count toward the daily total, was found in the coin return slot of the aforementioned change counting machine. However, it has already been deposited into my “Not Change Cup,” keeper of such found items.

Today I found 21 cents . . .. 2 dimes & 1 penny.

The first dime was found on the floor at North Station this morning. My lone penny, sandwiched between the two dimes, was found behind a change counting machine at my local credit union. The final dime of the night was found on the curb outside a restaurant along Washington St.

Today I found 3 cents . . .. all pennies.

Penny number one didn’t come until this afternoon as I was leaving work and found it by a Dunkin Donuts stand at North Station. The remaining two pennies were found on the sidewalk during my walk home. One of the pennies was in close proximity to a parking meter, while the other one was just sitting on the sidewalk in close proximity to nothing.

Today I found 6 cents . . .. all pennies.

The first two pennies were found at a T ticket machine at the Downtown Crossing station. The remaining four pennies were found atop an otherwise empty table at the cafeteria at my office building.

I’m not much of an Olympics person, but I do like the Field & Track at the Summer Games. I say field first because I was a pole vaulter in college, so the field part is much more interesting to me. Today I got to see a bit of the woman’s pole vault. Absolutely amazing. I was a Division I athlete and was paid to jump, and now the majority of the women in the Olympics jump higher than I ever jumped in college. It’s cool to watch.

The nickel was found this morning on the patio in front of my apartment complex. Shortly thereafter I found a penny when I did my laundry and another penny at the base of a change counting machine at Stop and Shop, a local grocery store. The final pennies of the day were found at the base of a counter at 7-11.

Today I found 3 cent . . .. all pennies.

Pennies one and three were found on sidewalks. The first on the way to Fenway and the second on the way home from Fenway. The middle penny was actually found at Fenway Park, America’s Most Beloved Ballpark, under some seats after the game. The Red Sox lost tonight. For a team 20 games over .500 they don’t impress me this year.

I got up very early this morning and headed into work. Yesterday was trash day in my neighborhood and in a trash deposit spot I found three pennies. Down the sidewalk a bit I found two more cents in an area occupied in the evening by a valet for a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon penny finds were recorded at North Station and on the sidewalk on the way home.

Today I found 15 cents . . .. 1 dime & 5 pennies.

Outside the post office I found a penny in a planter and then two more cents at 7-11 (one was by the front counter and one was by the front door). A dime was found outside 7-11 by a parking meter, followed by another penny on the sidewalk walking home. The final penny of the day was found at Harry O’s, a local sub shop.

The dime was found at the base of a McDonalds stand in North Station and the penny was found shortly thereafter by a Dunkin Donuts stand. Two more cents were found inside North Station as I headed home for the evening and a penny was found on the sidewalk outside my apartment building in the evening.

Today I found 16 cents. . .. 1 dime & 6 pennies.

When I got back from Maine today I found a penny by the front steps to my apartment building. I had to run over to the post office and there I found another penny in a potted plant by the front door. Walking home I found two pennies on the sidewalk and then a penny and a dime by the base of a parking meter. The final find of the day, a penny, was found at the base of a cash register at Harry O’s, a local sub shop.

Today I found 15 cents. . .. 1 dime & 5 pennies.

Today I was in Maine for work and didn’t find any change until this evening. In the evening I went to Shaws, a local grocery store, to pick up a few items and I found a penny by a cash register and a dime in the parking lot. The final find of the day was recorded at a Chevron gas station, where I found four pennies near a vacuum cleaner in the parking lot.

Today I found 11 cents . . .. 1 dime & 1 penny.

Sadly another weekend gone and it is back to work tomorrow. It was a great weekend and I got a ton of little things done that I needed to do. Today wasn’t anything special, but I did some laundry, grocery shopping, a few things around the house, and got to watch plenty of baseball on TV.

The penny was found this morning at the aforementioned grocery store. I have started doing my shopping in Chinatown and seem to be able to get a weeks worth of groceries (all fresh stuff) for under $20, so I think that plan will keep up. The dime was found just outside of Chinatown, below a bus stop bench along Washington St.

This morning I found a penny by a North Station T machine and a few minutes later I found a penny in the atrium of my office building. The dime was found in the cafeteria at work and the quarter was found by a coin counting machine at my local credit union.
