Today I found 98 cents . . . 1 nickel, 1 dime, 3 quarters, and 8 pennies (the groovy Change Cycle).

On my way to an appointment this morning I had cause to use the Beltway 8 Toll Road. At a tollbooth I spotted and retrieved a quarter from the ground. Later in the day, at lunch, I found a penny in the parking lot.

On the way home I stopped by the Kwick Kar Wash and found 33 cents (one nickel, one quarter, and three pennies). At the car wash next to the post office I found 39 cents (one dime, one quarter, and four pennies). In each car wash instance all change was scattered about on the ground.
