Today I found 10 cents . . .. a dime.

It was found at the base of a parking meter in Kailua, a city not far from Honolulu. I was there in the morning for breakfast. The reason that I didn’t find any other change was that I spent the rest of my day hiking some of the trails on Oahu.

The hike was through some tropical sections of the forest and I took a few pictures, including this one of a 30-foot fern:


And this one of some tropical plant:


It was a relatively easy hike and the scenery more than made up for the fact that I was hiking with my still sunburned feet.
