Today I found 27 cents . . . 1 quarter & 2 pennies.

It was Opening Day in the NFL and as a proud season ticket holder for the Houston Texans I was happy to be heading to the game (despite the fact that my real team is the Washington Redskins and the Texans have been a joke of a franchise for the first five years). Walking to the game I spotted and retrieved 26 cents (one quarter & one penny) from the parking lot of a McDonalds that I was cutting through.

Walking back from the game I found my final penny of the day in the parking lot of a Sam’s Club. I park there prior to the game and it makes for some excellent (and free) game day parking.
