Today I found $1.28 . . . 5 quarters & 3 pennies.

On my way to the post office this evening I spotted and retrieved a penny from the side of the road. I was stopped at a red light, so the retrieval of said penny was made easy. At the car wash next to the post office I found $1.27 (five quarters & two pennies).

As I ominously predicted yesterday my dime streak ended today. Nevertheless, I won’t hang my head in shame after going 37 straight days with finding a dime.
