Today I found 14 cents . . . all pennies.
In a continuation of yesterday’s reader appreciation it seems only fitting to wish Happy Birthday to Ernie Banks, Nolan Ryan, Lindsay in Boston, and Justin Timberlake. Currently, only one of the birthday people is a confirmed reader, but I’m sure Nolan would be on board if only someone told him about Race of the Century. He just seems cool like that.
On my way home this afternoon I stopped at the car wash next to my apartment and found 14 cents (all pennies). In change finding terms, it was a slow day, but it capped off an excellent month.
Totals for the day: 14 cents
Race Totals: $252.93

I heard from Becca my comment was not editor approved... I don't think you really appreciate avid readers!!! Censorship! *grin* Really, no worries.... at the last place I used to work there were tons of things I couldn't say or do, so I totally understand.
I thought I would let you know... I found a dime this morning at the T station... in a puddle no less :)

Nice to see that even though I had to give you the buzzer you came back in strong the next day.
Congrats on the dime at the T. When I was in college and ran track we always competed at Boston Univ. for our championships. Every year we would sneak out after bed check, hop the T, and go to the Bull & Finch Pub (Cheers). Good times, but I never found a dime!
